Mission :
Thanks for coming @cyberfitech, we’re happy you have you here. CyberFi has performed very well, and there have been many great Samurai IDOs.

Before we begin, do you mind giving us a brief description of your role in CFI & your background? Just for context.

Geralt :
Yes sure. I’m the founder and CEO of CyberFi, A new gen asset management platform focused on automation, with a side product called Samurai which is a launchpad/ stakepad platform. I currently oversee everything going on at CyberFi with two of our dev teams and a large team on the biz side

I got into defi back in 2018
worked on many different POCs, that helped me invision a different way of interacting with DeFi
that we are working on creating now with V2 of the cyberfi platform

Mission :
How many devs are you guys all together now?

Geralt :
about 3–4 on samura and like 7–8 on v2

Mission :
Wow, that’s quite a big team for DeFi. Nice. Alright let’s get into it. . .

1) There’s a lot to Cyberfi, so I think first we should clarify the different pieces first, namely : Cyberfi & Samurai (by Cyberfi). What are the missions of these two platforms? Just a brief description, then we can get into specifics on each later. . .

Geralt :
Lets start with Samurai : its a launchpad and a stakepad. we built this together to provide continious support for projects that launch on Samurai.

thats how our tiers work — https://medium.com/cyberfi/samurai-new-ido-tiers-38fda1496c13

Its going pretty well, we’ve been running for almost 3months now with Samurai, focusing on cuttting the amount of projects and focusing only on high quality.

Mission :
So, stakepad meaning you also provide a platform to provide liquidity or stake for rewards, from the Samurai site?

Geralt :
yup, check it out here : https://samurai.cyberfi.tech/stake-pad

recently listed $BIOS, doing pretty well, $CFii is like at $10m TVL or smth.

Mission :
Nice, we can go into more detail later. Tell us about the Cyberfi platform.

Geralt :
as for Cyberfi v2, its like zerion/zapper but focused on automation. our goal is to make the processes in DeFi simple/easy and accessible for everyone.

just release the first video of our Beta today — https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBO6MOGrxEI

we are making it so Metamask becomes your passport for TXs, but you dont have to think about it anymore, you only sign TXs with it. everything else is done almost like on CEXs, also through automation we are brinding advanced trading features such as limit orders/ stop loss/buy stops etc to the platform.

Mission :
Interesting, just to organize things for people, let’s go through the tools offered on Cyberfi all together so people can get a good idea.

2) Cyberfi sounds super interesting. I know a lot of people in chat were recently looking for tools to help with DeFi automation. What sort of tools can we expect from the Cyberfi platform.

Mission :
Oh I guess you just answered that a bit. :)

Geralt :
we are starting with simple limit orders. and then we wiill go into different triggers that will execute orders. Through automation I mean moving from the manual nature of DeFi to an automated enviroment. if you think about it nobody in DeFi really works with the parameter of time. All of the users are expected to be at the computer 24/7.

rip to all people that woke up and saw their amazing gains on IRON/TITAN — thats what we have without automation.

it naturally leads to ineffiecency in the markets, and this is obviously a huge barier for the mainstream as well

Mission :
Alright, so how does Cyberfi stack up against the other Dec. limit orders / automation platforms? I know it’s a massive problem people are working on right now. . .

Geralt :
We have a massively different infrastructure in comparison with other defi platforms. Currently its a little bit like a decefi application as we take part in the management of TXs, and we will move to a fully web3 defi application slowly. Through this we have the ability to allow users to set many automated orders that use triggers for execution. The best thing is that we have massive freedom with these triggers. allowing us to provide limit orders as well as limit orders set on the same token on both sides of the trade(buy stop and stop loss that would work at the same time)

Mission :
Maybe you can give an example of a potential automated tx just to illustrate it. . .

Geralt :
Say you are trading CFi and holding 1000 CFi tokens

you’ll be able to set a sell limit order at 15$ to sell 500 CFi
an order to buy more $CFi if it goes to 8$ for 0.5ETH
and buy more $CFi it rockets to 20$ for 0.5ETH

+ all of these orders would be active at the same time, this might be for advanced users, but if you know what i’m talking about you’d be excited.

Mission :
Yeah, that’s really great. How do you imagine the platform stacking up against CEXs? That is in reality your true competition (and the one we want to defeat.) In my mind, that’s the only advantage CEXs have, is the trading tools.

Geralt :
I think there is enough blue water in DeFi to win over first. then we will focus on yield and other defi primitives which all will be on the same platform — cyberfi, and we will use that to increase user participation and engagement.

there are also a couple of projects like orion that will allow us to bring CEX liquiidity to Cyberfi, so that would be the play. before we jump onto. the next question I’ll just add that one of the major moves we are planning is cross-chain support : so basically this + seemless asset transfers across Blockchains.

3) It’s my understanding that you have the v2 platform upcoming for the public. How has development been going on that? What & when can we expect to see of Cyberfi in the short-term?

Geralt :
I think we will be ok with public release somewhere in July, and beta access is available now to Tier 6 stakers. its a massive platform really so makes sense on going all in and polishing it up to perfection

the development was hard at first, we initially developed pretty much a different platform fully focused on LP management which hit the wall of scalability problems, so we had to pivot back in February to v2 that would be a massively bigger project, and took some time to create a powerfull in-house team. but the main infrasturcture is there now and all of the main components as well, so we are just pushing hard now to polish and start adding all the great automation features.

Mission :
Nice. I know for a fact that if it works well, everyone here will be using the features. People are always asking where to go for these tools, it’s a bit shocking they don’t exist in a solid platform yet.

Geralt :
imo even if we achieve a massivve shift in UI quality for DeFi operations it will already be a huge win

4) What is the $CFI token utility? How does it interact with the Cyberfi platform?

Geralt :
right now most of the utility is around the samurai launchpad

where we have 6 tiers that allow participations in lotteries and guaranteed allocations and airdrop campaigns, with v2 this will add a massive utility boost. not going to open up all the cards yet, but mainly $CFi will get the fees from the platform, as well as will be used in cross-chain operations as gas, again to make the process easier for users.

Mission :
Understood, so we can just assume it’ll be a core piece to the platform, in addition to unlocked IDO opportunities on Samurai, then.

Geralt :
Yes

5) Let’s move onto Samurai. I think everyone here is already familiar with the idea behind a Launchpad / Stakepad, so we don’t need to go into that. But, what would you say separates you from the rest of the launchpads?

How are projects vetted & chosen for Samurai IDOs? Do you have a particular philosophy behind which projects are accepted?

Geralt :
I think mainly the stakepad and ease of use separates use, also its super cheap at the moment. At the current prices for 500$ you can get into the lowest tier
And have tier 5 for 10k$

As for choosing : we have a strong network of partners and vcs that propose projects to us. Additionally, we carefully asses the potential of the project based on tokenomics, team, dev team, experience

And my deep experience in defi also helps finding the best projects.

Mission :
From what I saw, they have all been great so far. So keep up the good work there.

Before moving onto some of the IDOs. . .

How do you see the longevity of the platforms?

Geralt :
I have some plans for this, we will soon move to very small mc raises focused on explosive growth instead of large raises — the market is a little to thin to support that right now. also we are developing other chains support for the launchpad. we also have some ideas on making the stakepad more popular, and getting more utility for $CFi.

Mission :
Can disclose? Or still top secret?

Geralt :
lets keep it top secret

Mission :
Fair enough. :)

Well, we’re sorta at the point where I normally open it up to audience questions. But, I wanted to talk about $LPI & $VAB, want to go over those super fast?

Geralt :
sure!

6) Starting with Launchpad Index ($LPI), can you give us an overview of the project?

Geralt :
we are directly incubating them. they are a launchpad index. So in short : they hold a big bunch of launchpad tokens and participatei n IDOs, then dsitribute the profits to LPI stakers, and we will also do a collateral based index too.

Mission :
Great. I think the use-case for this is obvious to anyone who has tried to use more than one launchpad at once lol.

The name is “index” but can I assume it’s a managed portfolio, not really just an index like in tradefi

Geralt :
The name is “index” but can I assume it’s a managed portfolio, not really just an index like in tradefi. — exactly. the index is just an easy way to understand. Somehow people still dont get indexes in this space

Mission :
Maybe next cycle ;) When will the IDO be?

Oh ok, now. . .

7) . . . about Vabble ($VAB), can you give us a brief overview of that?

Geralt :
yup, vabble is a little bit diffferent from our usual defi projects, its a streaming service provider.

Mission :
So basically a decentralized Netflix?

Geralt :
yeah, the team has good experience in that niche. so we feel its an interesting play

Geralt :
Got it. Interesting. Alright. We’re over-time now, so let’s move onto audience questions. :)

Q1) Azima85 : I got one..can you tell what other chains were you thinking of using for cyberfi?

Geralt :
mainly polygon and bsc at first, but we have partnerships with Avalanche and Elrond so those are on the lookout as well. I’m still trying to figure out what is the best way for us to approach polkadot and the parachains

Mission :
We answered all the ones in the docs except one by @SaintP666,

vabble sounds interesting. how will servers be handled for it? is it viable right now do to this sort of model?

Maybe you have some insight on this.

Geralt :
probably better to ask the guys directly https://t.me/vabble not so sure about this
